Fonctions principales

Deballer et ranger les provisions dans les refrigerateurs, les entrepots et autres endroits reserves au rangement;
Entreposer les produits et preparations selon la duree probable de conservation;
Respecter la rotation des stocks;
Preparer les aliments pour le service des mets;
Respecter le temps d'execution fixe;
Maintenir une constance dans la qualite des preparations quant au gout, a l'apparence et au degre de cuisson;
Identifier les differentes composantes des menus Kuto;
Preparer les differents mets des menus Kuto;
Maintenir une constance dans la qualite des plats;
Executer toute autre tache demandee par le responsable.

Conditions exigees
L'horaire est variable de jour, de soir ou de fin de semaine. Travail frequent les fins de semaine, les jours feries et les conges. Possibilite de travailler a temps partiel. Les horaires peuvent avoir des heures fractionnees. Travail intensif aux heures de repas.

Nature of Work
Cooks prepare and cooks the food. They may perform the same duties as dishwashers. Kitchen helpers are part of this work group.
Main duties
Applies health and safety rules
Apply safety rules;
Apply WHMIS;
Follows equipment operating instructions.
Respect the maintenance tasks of the restaurant and the equipment;
Ensures that the workstation is kept clean;
Organize workstation and work effectively;
Adhere to Kuto restaurant recipes;
Unpack and store groceries in refrigerators, storage rooms and other designated storage areas;
Store products and preparations according to probable shelf life;
Maintains inventory rotation;
Prepare food for serving;
Maintain set turnaround time;
Maintain consistency in the quality of preparations in terms of taste, appearance and doneness;
Identify the different components of the Kuto menus;
Prepare the different items on the Kuto menu;
Maintain consistency in the quality of dishes;
Perform any other task requested by the manager
Requirements
A few years of high school education may be required. This type of job requires few qualifications or some experience. Manual dexterity and physical stamina may be required. Ability to work as part of a team and to keep up with the pace of production is required. Attention to detail and quick comprehension of data are required.
Conditions required
The schedule is variable depending on the position, day, evening or weekend. Frequent work on weekends, holidays and vacations. Occasional night work. Possibility of working part-time. Schedules may have split hours. Intensive work during meal times.
