Sommaire du poste:

Relevant du Chef, le Cuisinier travaille en collaboration avec le Sous-Chef afin de preparer les repas qui seront servis aux clients.

Taches:



Preparer les repas commandes par les clients selon les standards du restaurant et de maniere efficace

Organiser la preparation des ingredients afin de maintenir un flux de commandes rapide

Maintenir un environnement de travail hygienique, ceci inclus les equipements, ustensiles, planchers et comptoirs, etc.

Organiser l'espace de cuisine et les refrigerateurs

Aider avec le nettoyage lorsque necessaire

Gerer la reduction des dechets alimentaires et la rotation des produits frais

Aider l'equipe de serveurs a repondre aux attentes et demandes des clients

Garder une liste de preparation et de commandes afin d'assurer un inventaire adequat

Fermer la cuisine a la fin de la journee

Aider avec l'ouverture de la cuisine

Toutes autres taches assignees pas le Chef - ex. recevoir et verifier l'inventaire, preparation de nourriture, taches de nettoyages, etc.

Qualifications:



Minimum 1 an d'experience en restauration et preparation de repas

Posseder un diplome en gastronomie, un atout

Bilingue (Francais et Anglais)

Avoir une attitude positive et etre courtois

Capacite de travailler en equipe et de facon independante

Position summary:

Reporting to the head Chef, the Cook works closely with the Sous Chef to prepare the meals that will be served to customers in a timely manner.

Tasks:



Prepare the food ordered by customers in a timely and efficient manner

Organize food preparation to maintain an efficient flow of orders

Maintain a hygienic work area which includes the equipment, utensils, floor, and counters etc.

Keep the kitchen areas and fridges organized

Assist with the dish washing

Manages food waste and rotation of ingredients

Keep track of the prep and produces by updating the prep and order lists

Assist with closing the kitchen at the end of the day

Assist with preparing the kitchen for the next day or day of

Comply with all store and company policies, practices and procedures

Performs other duties as assigned by Chef- i.e. receiving and verification of inventory, food prep, cleaning duties, etc.

Qualifications:



1 year relevant experience (fast food or casual restaurant experience also welcomed)

Culinary school diploma, an asset

Reliable, hardworking and eager to learn

Outgoing and friendly demeanor

Bilingual (French and English), with good communication skills

Capacity to work with a team and independently
