Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a cook helper 3 days a week. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces
- Follow recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistent quality of meals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation during peak hours
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer concerns

Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Sous la responsabilite du Sous-chef, le cuisinier s'occupe que la cuisson et l'assaisonnement des ingredients faisant partie des recettes hebdomadaires creees par le chef executif tout en respectant les procedures de sante et de securite alimentaire. En tant que membre d'une petite equipe en cuisine, le cuisinier doit faire preuve d'excellentes competences en communication, d'une ethique de travail rigoureuse et etre capable de gerer le travail sous pression dans un environnement a volume eleve.

RESPONSABILITES



Coordonner les activites de cuisson de grandes quantites de viande, legumes, riz, etc. pour fournir les chaines d'assemblage de plats. Respecter les protocoles d'hygiene et de salubrite alimentaires Respecter les politiques et procedures en sante et securite du travail Effectuer le plaquage, l'assaisonnement et aider a la decoupe des viandes, au besoin. Surveiller la cuisson des ingredients. Collaborer etroitement avec les superviseurs et chefs d'equipe de production pour assurer la bonne conduite des operations et qu'aucun ingredient ne manque. Maintenir les aires de travail propres.

COMPETENCES & QUALIFICATIONS



DES complete, diplome en cuisine, un atout. Experience averee dans un environnement de cuisine. Comprehension de la transformation alimentaire a grand volume Maitrise des concepts de qualite, salubrite alimentaires, sante & securite au travail Francais et/ou anglais parle. Capacite a travailler en equipe. Excellent sens de l'organisation. Rigueur et autonomie.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.50 per hour
