As a C-UAS Antenna Engineer, you will lead the design and development of advanced antenna systems for counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) platforms. Your work will focus on phased array technologies, hybrid beamforming architectures, and signal intelligence (SIGINT) capabilities in the UHF bands to enable precision tracking and mitigation of aerial threats. You'll collaborate with the DSP team to deliver high-performance solutions for security applications.
What You'll Do:
Design, simulate, and prototype phased array antennas for active and passive target tracking systems.
Develop hybrid beamforming architectures for dynamic threat engagement and signal interception.
Integrate antenna systems with RF front ends, signal processors, and C-UAS platforms.
Conduct performance testing in lab and field environments, including UHF band SIGINT operations.
Collaborate with systems engineers to optimize antenna placement, coverage, and platform integration.
Support development of tracking algorithms leveraging antenna data for real-time threat localization.
Ensure compliance with MIL-STD, FCC, and spectrum management regulations.
Document design processes, test results, and certification efforts.
What You'll Bring:
Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetics, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in antenna design, phased arrays, or RF systems engineering.
Proficiency in electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, CST, FEKO).
Experience with hybrid beamforming techniques and MIMO systems.
Familiarity with passive and active tracking systems and radar signal processing.
Hands-on experience with UHF band SIGINT systems and spectrum analysis tools.
Strong understanding of antenna measurement techniques and anechoic chamber testing.
Ability to work in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments with high operational stakes.
Experience with C-UAS or electronic warfare systems is preferred
Familiarity with ruggedized antenna systems.
Knowledge of digital beamforming and adaptive array processing.
