Job Summary

We are seeking a full time CSR/Graphic Artist to join our dynamic team. We would prefer to hire a recent graduate from the graphic design program, no experience is necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service with an outgoing personality and excellent communication skills as well as proficiency in graphic arts and a passion for taking the customer's art and the vision to functionality and practicality through embroidery, screen printing, laser engraving and digital printing. As an important part of our admin and graphic teams, you will be responsible for booking orders, answering phones, assist with shipping and receiving as well as learn to create art proofs for approval before production that align with the brand identity and vision of customer supplied logos while keeping in mind the limitations and options for what Merit offers as a decorating house . This role requires proficiency in various design tools and an understanding of our in-house production capacities, capabilities and limitations.

This is a great starting role for a new graduate of design school with a strong hands-on knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite and who wants to grow themselves in the embroidery and print industry. We are looking for an outgoing individual who is a fast learner and able to prioritize and stay organized in a fast pace work environment. Reliability, ability to follow instructions with a problem solving mindset, a keen eye for detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills are some of the most important attributes to succeed in this position.
