Macro Foods is a small business in Sarnia, ON. Our goal is to Serve the community fresh, healthy, chef prepared meals. We also serve protein shakes and sell supplements and healthy snacks. Customers can walk in and pick up food on the go, or order online direct to their homes anywhere in Ontario!
Our customer service department is seeking an experienced, energetic and capable individual to join our busy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting all customers and explaining our products, using company policy and procedure to solve customer's problems and learning specific questions about products and services in order to deliver accurate information back to customers. We're seeking a self-motivated and organized individual with strong customer service skills who is also an effective multi-tasker. General health knowledge/healthy eating is a bonus.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for customers in-store, online, and over the phone, providing exceptional service and support.
Assist customers with placing, modifying, and tracking meal orders and subscriptions.
Provide accurate product and nutrition information, including ingredient and allergen details.
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
Accurately process orders, payments, exchanges, and returns using POS systems.
Maintain retail displays, fridges, and front-of-house areas to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
Preparation of protein shakes.
Support marketing promotions, loyalty programs, and product launches by sharing details with customers.
Record customer feedback and provide insights to management to improve operations.
Participate in team meetings, product training, and cross-functional initiatives.
Must complete safe food handlers certificate within first 2 weeks of employment.
Must obtain first aid certification within 30 days of employment. This is a requirement of the position.
Previous experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality is preferred.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort using POS systems, email, and other software tools (training provided).
Attention to detail and commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences.
Availability for flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Opening - 10 AM (9am Wednesdays) to 3 PM
Closing - 3PM to 7PM
Weekend Shifts -11AM to 6PM (10am start Sundays)
Minimum Availability Required of 5 shifts per above.
