Lake Bonavista is a non-profit organization led by a volunteer Board of Directors. As a team, paid staff maintain and operate the members only facility that encompasses a 76 acre area serving 11,000+ members.
Our 50+ acre lake is adjacent to a 25 acre private park, making Lake Bonavista one of the largest facilities in Calgary.
The community resides in Treaty 7, the traditional and ancestral territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy: Kainai, Piikani, and Siksika as well as the Tsuut'ina Nation, Stoney Nakoda First Nation, and the Metis Nation (Region 3).
Lake Bonavista provides all-year round access for its residents to explore a variety of outdoor recreational activities such as swimming, fishing, court sports and boating in the summer, or skating and cross-country skiing in the winter. The facilities are also host to several signature events and gatherings for the community.

Job Summary:
Lake Bonavista Homeowner's Association Ltd. is seeking a skilled and organized Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves a blend of administrative support, event management, and member services, particularly during our peak season. The ideal candidate will be adept at multitasking, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to enhancing community engagement and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
HOA Payments:
Efficiently process and manage HOA payments during peak season (May-August), ensuring accurate tracking, record-keeping, and timely deposits.
Group Bookings:
Coordinate and manage large group bookings for members, overseeing all aspects of scheduling and logistics to ensure smooth execution.
Social Media and Website Marketing:
Develop, schedule, and manage social media posts and website updates to promote association events, activities, and important announcements.
Event Coordination:
Collaborate with the office manager to plan, organize, and execute signature park events, collaborating with vendors and managing event details to ensure successful outcomes.
Summer Programs:
Work closely with the office manager to coordinate summer programs with outside vendors, ensuring a range of engaging member activities.
Membership Files:
Maintain and update both digital and physical membership files, ensuring all records are accurate, secure, and easily accessible.
Communication and Member Assistance:
Respond promptly and professionally to emails, phone calls, and drop-in member inquiries.
Administrative Support:
Assist the office manager with a variety of administrative tasks, including, document preparation and office housekeeping.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Previous experience in administrative support or program coordination is preferred.
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in social media, website CMS, and other software applications.
