Armor People Link is hiring for Crown Reach and Counter Balance forklift drivers for Brampton based client who manufactures Plastic food bags. The company is based out at Queen and Rutherford Intersection.
The candidate will be working on all shifts (cannot choose any shift): (BIWEEKLY ROTATIONAL SHIFTS)
Morning Shift: 7 am-3:15pm - $24.00/hour
Afternoon Shift: 3pm- 11:15pm - $24.00/hour +$0.75 as afternoon shift premium
Night Shift: 11:00pm-7:15am - $24.00/hour +$1.25 as night shift premium
PLEASE NOTE- *The client is looking for candidates who are available to work Full-time and are not attending school. The candidate MUST be available to work on a bi-weekly rotating shift schedule.*

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Safely operate lift trucks for transporting and shipping materials
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials
- Supply raw materials to departments as needed
- Locate materials in warm room and warehouse
- Wrap skids in preparation for shipment
- Conduct daily lift truck circle checks; and ensure the related form is completed
- Ensure cleanliness of immediate and surrounding work areas
- Adhere to standard operating procedures as outlined within the shipping department
- Promote a safe work environment, complying with all health & safety and environmental regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience on Crown Reach, Counterbalance and Lift Trucks with Valid Forklift License
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Prior work experience of working different shifts will be an asset (preferably experience with night shifts)
- Must be eligible to work legally full- time in Canada without the requirement of PR support by the employer
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, write and comprehend information and instructions in English
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Good organizational and prioritization skills
Qualifications:
SELECTION CRITERIA:
An interview will be conducted by Armor consultant
Qualified candidates will be presented further to our client for a forklift test and an interview at the client's location
Final decision will be taken by our client for successful on-boarding of suitable candidates
Police clearance check is a MUST
Covid-19 Double vaccination status is required
