Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an enthusiastic self motivated, cross border Dispatcher/Driver Coordinator

What you will do:

  • Schedule, book loads and manage highway fleet maximize revenue.
  • Create weekly/monthly schedules for highway drivers.
  • Analyze highway lanes to maximize profitability and plan trucks accordingly.
  • Coordinate with dispatch team to manage driver hours and downtime.
  • Act as the liaison between company drivers/brokers and customers.
  • Communicate with drivers to ensure smooth delivery of freight in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that the drivers have all the necessary paperwork in order before dispatching to client sites, including alternate routes or special instructions for delivery.
  • Complete cross-border paperwork for ACE, ACI, PAPS, and PARS with assistance from dispatch team members.
  • Assign trips and movements in Freight Logics, Revenova.
  • Identify opportunities with customers, generate leads, and develop quotes to win lanes.
  • Deal with escalated customer inquiries as required, escalate to Dispatch Supervisor as required.
  • Monitor fleet telematics, Load Link, Border Connect and ensure rates are updated in the system in a timely manner or/as instructed.
  • Oversee driver progress via Fleet Complete Telematics
  • Work hand in hand with city dispatch to coordinate pick ups and deliveries for highway units.
  • Ensure trailer list is up to date and accurate, utilize highway trailer pool.
  • Work hand in hand with ASL\xe2\x80\x99s partner companies to generate additional lanes to increase fleet volumes.
  • Work closely with Safety and Compliance Supervisor/Manager to ensure a safe driver fleet for ASL.
  • Working knowledge and adhering to all DOT Canada & USA rules and regulations
  • Perform operational analysis and recommend modifications to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Manage and execute sales calls to develop a strong relationship with load brokers and fleet accounts.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of Driver Coordinating or Dispatch is a must have
  • Experience with ACE, ACI, PARS
  • Experience in booking loads
