Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
Manage time effectively to ensure timely order fulfillment during busy periods
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash register at the end of shifts
Assist with food handling procedures, ensuring proper sanitation and safety protocols are followed
Support team members in various tasks to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and sanitation standards is a plus
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
