We are seeking a great, reliable, dynamic Cashier to join the team. This is a key position that requires a high standard of customer service in a fast-paced environment.

What will you do in this role?
Duties:
Greet customers and provide a welcoming atmosphere
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with precision
Assist customers in locating products and making recommendations
Upsell products and services to enhance the customer experience
Conduct product demonstrations when required
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
Answer customer inquiries in person or over the phone
Utilize POS systems for sales transactions
Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving any issues promptly
Collaborate and assisting kitchen and service teams
Skills
Strong mathematical skills and basic computer system knowledge
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Customer satisfaction-oriented
Strong communication and time management skills
Problem solving and decision making
Experience as a Retail Cashier is an asset
Ability to handle moderate physical demands: standing for 8 hours, lift a medium size merchandise if required
Experience
Prior experience in restaurant / hospitality required
Proficiency in cash handling procedures
Ability to operate Point of Sale (POS) systems effectively
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
Experience in upselling products or services is a plus
Familiarity with technology sales and product demonstrations is advantageous
Fluency in English is required; multilingual abilities are a bonus
Knowledge of phone etiquette for professional customer interactions
