Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Crew Members to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional food service experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in the food industry while contributing to a welcoming and efficient dining atmosphere.
Duties
Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining quality and presentation.
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling.
Serve customers with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
Manage cash transactions, including handling cash, credit card payments, and providing correct change.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations.
Assist with inventory management by stocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
Follow all food safety guidelines related to food handling, sanitation, and storage.
Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as serving, cashiering, and food prep.
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
Basic math skills for cash handling and order management.
Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Good time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
Kitchen experience or familiarity with the food industry is advantageous.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or trays as needed.
