Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Crew Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for landscape maintenance. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for supervising a team of workers while ensuring that all garden and landscape projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Your role will involve hands-on work as well as overseeing the daily operations of your crew.

Duties

Supervise and lead a team in various landscaping tasks, ensuring quality and efficiency. Plan and execute garden installations Oversee landscape maintenance activities, including planting/pruning. Train new team members on best practices in landscaping and safety protocols. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues to management. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.

Skills

Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams. Strong knowledge of garden design principles and landscape maintenance techniques. Ability to build structures such as raised beds or trellises as part of landscaping projects. Familiarity with irrigation systems and their installation/maintenance. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: $22.85-$40.29 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 55 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
Work Location: On the road
