Job Description

Mountain View Property Maintenance is looking for Full-Time Crew Leader Landscape Maintenance.

Must be able to lead a crew of 2-4 for the Summer season.

Must have a Valid Drivers License and be able to drive a truck and trailer.

Working knowledge of season equipment an asset, including the following:

Trimming Equipment
Zero Turn
Push Mower's
Duties also include pruning, raking, weeding & spring cleaning duties.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Gravely Sweeper - an asset for winter
Snowrator - an asset for winter

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: Will train, experience would be beneficial however.

Full-Time (Seasonal) - Will continue into summer dependent on skill set.

Winter Hours are 0-100 hour guarantee for a month, On call as weather dependent
4am Starts for Winter Season

Monday-Friday with availability to work weekends.

Other Tasks-
Weed, prune and trim trees and plants
Cut grass
Rake and collect refuse
Remove litter and garbage
Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
Lay sod or seed
Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees
Apply fertilizers
Write daily basic progress reports
Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens as required
Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
Remove Snow from edge to edge of sidewalks, fire exit doors, loading docks, etc
Apply Ice Melt to site along with chipping and scraping
