Primary responsibility is to serve as point of contact for assigned Borrower and Lenders for loan related servicing matters on moderately complex deals. With some supervision, deliver the highest level of service to agents, lenders, borrowers and internal business units while ensuring compliance with servicing agreements, government regulations and policies/procedures. Key all transactions into credit facility and loan system of records and workflow tools. Ensures all communication occurs timely and accurately. Monitor assigned credit facilities and loan accounts to ensure funding and payment compliance with credit agreements, loan documentation, lender or borrower instructions, internal procedures and approvals. Monitor, calculate and/or instruct payment processing for borrower payments, disbursements, interest and fees. Monitor and manage past dues and reconciliation exceptions. May assist managers in performing quality assurance. The successful applicant will have a basic understanding of credit-related products and experience with credit documentation. Responsibilities

  • Service loan requirements for a global and regional corporate and commercial credit portfolio, acting in agency, participant and sole lender roles
  • Process loan accounting entries, commitment and loan records, loan statements, interest and fee billings, intra-day wire reconciliation accounts
  • Review and adhere to credit portfolio legal documentation, corporate documents and policies and procedures
  • Monitor/Support administrative duties, such as control reporting and records filing
Qualifications
  • University degree with preference to finance or math and superior academic achievement
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • 1+ years of credit servicing and basic knowledge and experience to interpret complex Corporate and Commercial legal credit agreements is an asset
  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately act on detailed instructions under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Participate in and support collaborative efforts to advance tools and technology enhancements
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent communications and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and flexibly adapt in a fast paced and challenging environment adjusting to evolving business needs
  • Availability to work overtime, weekends and statutory holidays
