Credit and Risk Operations Manager

, you will provide leadership in credit and risk operations, legal recovery, and departmental management. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer and managing risk specialists, you will ensure adherence to credit policies, oversee complex portfolio management processes, and contribute to the development of lending strategies and products that support WCU's goals. This role requires strong judgment, collaboration across departments, and a focus on delivering excellent experiences to both internal teams and external members.

The salary range for this position is $84,667 to $116,416 and is commensurate on experience.

Your SPARK (Qualifications):

Undergraduate degree in Business or a related field plus 5-7 years of progressive experience in credit, risk management, or lending operations. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Strong knowledge of credit risk principles, collections, and legal recovery processes.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

Proven ability to lead and develop a team, fostering collaboration and accountability.

Ability to work independently under broad managerial direction and adapt to changing priorities.

Knowledge of the credit union system or banking industry is considered a strong asset.
