Are you seeking a role where you will work within a stable and growing environment? Currently seeking a Credit & Collections Specialist to work strategically with the Credit Manager. This is an onsite opportunity located in Mississauga just north of the Airport. In this role you will report to the Credit Manager and you will be responsible for full cycle Credit & Collection job functions. The successful candidate will build relationships with established businesses to maintain portfolio standings and to assure payments and account details/invoices are up to date. The successful candidate will assist with reconciling accounts, month end duties, and setting up payment plans for past due invoices. To be considered for the successful candidate will hold 2-4 years experience in a Credit or AR focused role. Experience working within a transportation company would be an added bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Develop relationships with vendors and customers to assure payment terms are met
• Monitor reports and past due invoices and following up with B2B customers as required
• Assure accurate set up of new customer profiles
• Working with Collections Manger to approve new customer credits
• Managing a set amount of clients within a portfolio including updating information and account details
• Assisting with month end close duties
• Review Accounts and client payments as required
• Handle billing discrepancies
• Assist with Cash application duties
• Complete credit checks on new clients

• 2-4 years Credit & collections experience within a B2B environment
• Prior Transportation industry experience is considered an added bonus
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Consistent and accurate data entry skills
• Ideally active enrolment in a professional accounting designation
• MS Office & QuickBooks
• Good with numbers and calculations
• Experience in an international organization is an asset
• This is an on-site role with some flexibility to work hybrid 1-2 times a week after completion of training period
