We are currently hiring a full-time

Credit Analyst

to support our London Administration team. This job posting is for an existing vacancy.



The Credit Analyst role is accountable for partnering with Senior Relationship Manager(s) with the overall management of a sizable portfolio of agriculture & commercial accounts, with varying levels of complexity. By partnering with the Senior Relationship Managers, Credit, and Agricultural & Business team, the Credit Analyst completes financial risk analysis & underwriting of credit applications for agricultural and commercial lending.



By taking a thorough and balanced approach to risk and business development, the Credit Analyst position safeguards the goals of the Credit Union, while supporting Owners in achieving their needs.



We are currently hiring for two positions under this posting: a Credit Analyst Level 1 and a Credit Analyst Level 2. The hiring managers will assess each candidate's experience and skills to determine the best fit for either level.



The salary is indicated below:


Credit Analyst Level 1 $64,701- $86,268 Credit Analyst Level 2 $73,430 - $97,907

The Role:



Have demonstrated credit underwriting experience, with a preference for 5-7 years direct experience. Be proficient in analyzing balance sheets, cash flows, and business plans. Competent in financial ratios and understanding cash flow mechanics. Familiar with different borrower types and their relationship to collateral membership, loan repayment, and structures. Exhibit demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate risks, work independently, prioritize tasks, and resolve problems Conduct accurate financial analysis and assess risk for new and existing customers. Evaluate credit terms based on provided documents, negotiating as needed, and submitting completed credit applications to Relationship Managers for review. Prepare, structure, and deliver meaningful, detailed credit analyses while providing efficient and timely service. Adherence to credit and risk policies and procedures; identification of any exceptions are appropriately documented, approved, and reported. Provide accurate financial analysis and risk assessment of new and existing members Complete and approve Annual Summary Reviews for loans Ensure all credit files are complete, including identifying and document deficiencies. Understand the current financial environment landscape and associated risks. Have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and adept at using various software applications. Understand and review the member's business to recommend credit solutions and assist with identifying potential needs.
