The Credit Analyst determines credit worthiness and establishes credit terms for new customers. Accountable for the monitoring of customer receivables and acting on overdue balances. Monitor customer receivables and proactively follow up on overdue balances.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze new accounts opening request and render decision.
Monitor customer receivables and proactively follow up on overdue balances daily.
Monitor and analyze credit worthiness and credit limits of customers on an on-going basis.
Enforce credit terms and limits on an on-going basis.
Review delivery hold list/past due accounts daily.
Conduct collection calls on overdue balances daily, negotiate payment arrangements as needed.
Prepare accounts for submission to collection agency monthly.
Monitor budget customer accounts and adjust as necessary.
Monitor the credit KPI's on a weekly basis, compile and communicate KPI summary
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Location:
Must live in Hearst, ON, or other nearby areas.
Typical schedule:
On-site position. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Education:
Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Statistics.
Experience:
Minimum of 3+ years experience in credit and/or financial analysis.
Language:
Bilingual French and English, written and spoken required
Technology:
Proficiency using other Microsoft office applications. User experience with an Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) platform, more specifically Business Central.
Additional Skills:
Solid background in ratio analysis, risk assessment, financial statement analysis, credit report analysis. Strong attention to detail with ability to notice discrepancies in data, and financial information. Proficient in financial data gathering and analysis techniques. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English and French. Strong customer service skills.
