Position overview:
As a digital-first media agency born from creative DNA, we believe the best media impressions don't just deliver reach, they deliver resonance. That's where the Creative Media Lead comes in, you are a hybrid thinker and doer who thrives at the intersection of creativity, strategy, media, and innovation.
You will be proactive in delivering inspirational ideas, provocation and disruption across Mediahub's teams and clients. You will help redefine the creative standards of the agency, positioning the R+D Lab not just as a problem solver but a team who continually challenge convention and ignite standout thinking across campaigns, pitches, and partnerships.
Working closely with the SVP, you will shape the creative culture of the business by mentoring others, elevating the work, and leading with a strong point of view. You'll be a key face of creativity and innovation in media for both internal teams and our clients, championing new thinking and unlocking brave, effective work that gets people talking.
Responsibilities:
Creative Leadership & Ideation
  • Translate client objectives and problem into cultural opportunities delivering breakthrough media ideas that stretch beyond the expected.
  • Lead creative development across media campaigns and strategies, and new business pursuits ensuring originality, impact and KPI alignment.
  • Promote innovation across the funnel for our clients and have a finger on the pulse of media innovation and how it can be applied to our clients' problems.
  • Regularly lead and facilitate ideation sessions across teams, nurturing unconventional thinking and bold experimentation.
  • Drive the creative reputation of Mediahub through stand-out, award-worthy work.
Pitch & New Business Excellence
  • Serve as a creative anchor in pitch teams spotting idea gaps, shaping narratives and elevating deliverables with fresh, strategic thinking.
  • Own the creative story in pitches, confidently presenting ideas to senior stakeholders and prospective clients.
  • Embed R+D into the pitch process to unlock genuinely disruptive, insight-led ideas.
Creative Craft & Delivery Oversight
  • Act as the "quality control gate" across all creative media deliverables ensuring clarity, originality and craft across decks, PCAs and proposals.
  • Balance conceptual creativity with media acumen to ensure ideas are strategically sound, well-structured and executed to a high standard.
  • Identify creative or narrative weaknesses in deliverables and proactively resolve them with the team.
Client & Internal Leadership
  • Be the go-to day-to-day R+D spokesperson across your client projects educating clients on our creative approach, defending bold ideas, and growing trust.
  • Proactively push clients beyond their comfort zone with creative that breaks new ground and delivers measurable impact.
  • Partner closely with strategy, client leads and our production and media partners to ensure department work is integral to the agency's output.
Commercial & Operational Acumen
  • Support the HOD in managing financial performance and forecasting revenue, tracking project budgets and flagging risks.
  • Ensure that your output reflects the fee / retainer secured and that any scope creep is identified and resolved by engaging your line manager and relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead on case study development and thought-leadership initiatives to elevate the R+D Lab's role.

Desired Skills and Experience
  • Extensive experience at a leading media, creative, publisher or brand-side creative role.
  • A portfolio of innovative, effective campaigns across digital, social, experiential and emerging platforms.
  • Demonstrated success in new business leadership.
  • Comfortable leading large-scale projects from ideation to execution.
  • Experience working in or with creative teams, media strategy, production and external partners.
