Job Description


THE ROLE: Reporting to the Managing Director, the Creative Manager will be responsible for supporting all marketing and communications activities of our high volume restaurant venue. This includes but is not limited to supporting the creation and distribution of communications, marketing materials (digital and print) and contributing to the company\'s development and growth. This position requires someone who works well independently on projects from start to finish, in a high-volume, fast-paced, and constantly changing environment. The candidate must have excellent knowledge of social media management, a strong graphic design background and proficiency with all Adobe programs, while carrying out other administrative duties. The desire and willingness to grow and excel with the team for the benefit of the department and the company is an asset. The individual hired for this role will be required to work in an office setting. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports the Managing Director with the creation and coordination of all internal and external marketing materials including flyers, advertisements and other marketing initiatives
  • Daily social media management including responding to guests inquiries, consistent posting and creation of content to grow social engagement and media presence
  • Ensure consistent branding across all avenues of design including social media, digital ads, print, etc.
  • Event and venue photography including photo editing and production of collateral when necessary
  • Creative ability to generate new ideas or recommend changes to existing design processes
  • Corporate website maintenance and updating
  • Project management and support for on-going projects as per the Managing Director
  • Prioritize completion of deliverables upon tight deadlines
  • Perform administrative duties when needed
  • Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2 years experience with graphic design materials and creation
  • Diploma in Marketing/Graphic design preferred or relevant experience
  • Advanced proficiency with all Adobe platforms including Photoshop (photo editing and retouching), Illustrator, Wordpress and Canva
  • Strong expertise in social media marketing and digital advertising (Instagram, Facebook, Google Sites, Mailchimp, etc.)
  • Ability to follow direction to apply marketing/design principles and capacity to embrace new technologies and feedback
  • Knowledge of print media, layout, design, formatting, digital practices, web publishing, and AODA compliant design
  • Must be a strong self-starter with high level of time management and organization to be able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a high volume and dynamic environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle change with ease and a positive attitude, flexible
  • Team player, desire and willingness to grow and excel with a team for the benefit of the department and the company
  • Experience with Instagram and TikTok management an asset
