The Role
As a Copywriter at Neo, you will develop engaging and persuasive copy across our entire product ecosystem for all channels and audiences. You will be part of a dynamic creative team and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including channel leads, product marketing, and partnership team members from across the organization.
In this role, you will be contributing to campaign ideation as well as creating powerful and impactful copy for a range of marketing needs in a fun, fast-paced environment.
What you'll be doing:
Be responsible for concept ideation and writing of creative messaging that engages audiences while enhancing the brand voice
Create compelling copy that is clear, on-brand voice, and meets the needs of distinct audiences
Help shape the brand style guide, evolving the tone and spirit of the Neo brand, so that it is both distinctive and ownable
Transform product marketing strategies and audience insight into compelling messages that attract attention and generate meaningful acquisition and adoption
Generate original copy for web, landing pages, email, push and in-app notifications, paid digital, social media, print collateral, articles, video scripts and any other copy needs within the department with the aim of building awareness, engagement and acquisition of customers
Develop strategic messaging themes that come to life throughout integrated go-to-market campaigns
Decipher technical language and turn it into simple, meaningful and consumer-friendly content/copy
Present and clearly articulate ideas and a point of view to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
Work closely with the team to deliver all aspect of copy and content requirements, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all briefs and voice from established brand guidelines; proactively make recommendations to enhance end results
Possess the ability to grasp how content will play out while thinking conceptually across multiple channels; from top of funnel, to low funnel conversion
Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices to incorporate SEO optimizations and keyword recommendations provided by the UX Content strategy team
Who we are looking for:
You'll have a minimum of 5 years writing experience for brand-oriented companies and/or agency
You are skilled in writing compelling copy in short and long-form formats for a multitude of audiences
You have a passion for brand - never compromising on a company's identity and values
You have an organized approach to delivering work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities. You're able to generate a volume of ideas on short notice and deliver copy on time and with consistently high quality
Learned ability to navigate ambiguity and simplify complex situations. You're comfortable creating your own brief from an insight for a quick ideation session or to quickly create a concept
Experimentation mindset, embracing new creative technologies, media platforms, and trends
An understanding of consumer fintech is considered an asset
A familiarity with UI/UX and social media is also considered an asset
