Creative Content Intern - Fall 2023

Responsibilities

  • Strategize creative content ideas for artists
  • Pitch compelling original content programming for artists and UMC owned channels for major video partners including, but not limited to, YouTube and Twitch.
  • Assist with digital video content production (with a focus on short form video) for domestic roster for their social media usage, collaborating with respective Digital Marketing Managers.
  • Participate in creative brainstorms for digital content across UMC brands.
  • Stay abreast of current trends and other artists and competitive brands that we can learn from, sharing actionable insights with the Digital team
  • Assist with programming pitches and metadata requests for key priority video releases.
  • Assist in deep dives into algorithms & analytics for video optimization and strategy recommendations.
  • Assist with video channel management for UMC\xe2\x80\x99s domestic artists including but not limited to updating artwork, images, playlists, links, descriptions, etc.
  • Attend strategy, analysis and editorial meetings
  • Communicate regularly with Video Strategy Manager on the status of ongoing work, including assigned other duties
Requirements
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Great organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Microsoft Office
  • Passionate about Music and Popular Culture
  • Fluent in both PC and MAC operating systems
  • Video production & editing experience is preferred.
