Crane Technician - Surrey, BC

Shifts: Day shift - must be willing to travel (including overnight) within North America for service calls

Education:

• GMK Training preferred.
• HDM Red Seal ticket preferred

Experience:

• 3+ years experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all terrain cranes preferably Grove and Manitowoc.

Skills and Abilities:

• Highly developed mechanical and electrical troubleshooting background in cranes
• Advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
• Great communication skills, empathy, and customer service skills
• Must be able to use communication and diagnostic technology
• Valid driver's license and clean abstract
• Be an impressive representative of our client in all customer interactions
• Drug, alcohol, and criminal background checks required

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair Rough Terrain and Crawler Cranes
• Provide Certified Crane Inspections
• Demonstrate equipment for customer use
• Training of lower-level technicians
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures for a goal of zero incidents and injuries
• Impeccable verbal and written communication including detailed service report writing
• Other duties as required
