Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Self Erect Level A Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to ensure project success.

Duties

Operate a slef erect crane to lift and transport materials as required by project specifications. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safe operation. Rig loads properly and safely, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed during lifting operations. Communicate effectively with ground crew members to coordinate movements and ensure safety. Maintain accurate records of crane operations, including load weights and operational hours. Perform routine maintenance on cranes and related equipment to ensure optimal performance. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the job site. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or other stakeholders.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge related to crane operation and maintenance. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing; bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus. Experience operating forklifts or similar heavy machinery is desirable. Proficient in rigging techniques for safe load handling. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Customer service-oriented mindset, ensuring positive interactions with clients and team members alike.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week
