Craftsman Position In Production Facility
Job Description
1867 Confederation Log & Timber Frame is an innovative leader in the log and timber frame manufacturing industry. Celebrating over 40 years pursuing a passion for creating beautifully crafted homes and delivering superior customer service from our facility in beautiful Trent Lakes, Ontario.
We currently have an opportunity open for a skilled craftsman to join the in-house production facility. Duties include cutting and assembling log walls and timber framing while learning hand-crafted techniques and joinery.
A qualified applicant will have a working knowledge or background in forestry and woodworking, be able to operate a wide variety of factory equipment and machinery and read working drawings. This position required the applicant to be able to perform heavy lifting tasks.
Written and oral fluency in English is required.
Wages will be determined based on qualifications and benefits are available.
