This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, is comfortable with medical equipment, and has an interest in healthcare sales. You'll be the go-to person for guiding patients through their CPAP journey and supporting their ongoing equipment needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Education & Support
Provide education on CPAP equipment, cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Perform mask fittings and help patients select the best equipment for comfort and compliance
Assist patients with therapy concerns and escalate clinical issues to appropriate staff
Conduct follow-ups to support adherence and satisfaction with therapy
Sales & Supplies
Recommend and sell appropriate CPAP masks, filters, tubing, cleaning supplies, and other accessories
Promote resupply programs and proactively engage patients due for replacement items
Maintain a solid understanding of available products, including features and benefits
Process product orders accurately and in a timely manner
Clinic Operations & Collaboration
Maintain accurate records in EMR and inventory systems
Keep the equipment area clean, organized, and stocked
Collaborate with clinicians and MOAs to ensure smooth transitions between care steps
Requirements:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Comfortable discussing medical equipment and handling patient questions
Previous experience in healthcare, sales, retail, or customer service preferred
Familiarity with CPAP therapy or respiratory care is an asset (training provided)
Detail-oriented and able to manage time and tasks independently
Basic computer and data entry skills
Accountabilities:
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and sales
Meet or exceed clinic resupply and sales targets
Maintain a high standard of patient satisfaction and support
Adhere to clinic policies, patient confidentiality, and professional conduct standards
Contribute to a positive, team-based work environment
