Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Course Marshal to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to handle potentially challenging situations, and a commitment to upholding the venue's policies and regulations.

Duties

Monitor arrivals and departures to ensure the safety of guests and staff. Conduct thorough in person surveillance of the patrons to identify any suspicious behavior or potential threats. Enforce rules and regulations, ensuring compliance from all patrons. Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, utilizing conflict resolution skills to de-escalate situations. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address serious incidents or emergencies. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying and addressing theft or vandalism within the premises. Maintain a visible presence throughout the venue to deter inappropriate behavior and promote a secure atmosphere.

Experience

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of the golf industry an asset. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people. Proven ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally.

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
