EDEA 205. Painting 2.
Investigation of color, media, tools, techniques. Studies of natural forms, the human figure.
Term: Winter 2026

Teaching Qualification Requirements (TQRs):
EducationMaster Educator with an MA in a relevant field (e.g. Visual Arts Education) and/or extensive relevant experience as a school artist-teacher in the visual arts. PhD or equivalent is an asset.

Experience
1.Expert Knowledge of:Painting canons Painting skills Influential painting schools Various painting media

2. Previous successful experience teaching similar course(s) at the undergraduate or graduate level
3. Experience as a visual arts educator in the Quebec educational system.
4. Familiarity with the 13 Professional Competencies specified by the Ministere de l'Education.
OtherKnowledge of the impact and proven record integrating pedagogical approaches anchored to equity, diversity and inclusion Familiarity using myCourses, ZOOM and other similar online platforms to facilitate quality teaching and learning experiences Familiarity teaching blended courses is an asset Familiarity with the application of a variety of digital teaching and learning tools
