Salary: $11 479 /course (including vacation pay).
The Department of Anthropology is inviting applications to teach a course in Winter 2026. Please complete the online application form and upload the required documents. ANTH 201- Introduction to Archaeology
Exploration of the definition of the discipline of archaeology and the ways that archaeologists reconstruct the past. Overview of goals, theories, research questions, and methods of anthropological archaeology.
January 5 - April 14, 2026: Mondays & Wednesdays (2:35 - 3:55 pm)
Location: Macdonald Harrington Building G-10
Teaching Qualification Requirements:
Education: MA required; Priority to holders of Ph.Ds with specialization in relevant areas, or near completion of degree.
Experience: Priority will be given to candidates with expertise in relevant field and laboratory research methods, a capacity to manage course laboratory sessions, and experience teaching archaeology at the introductory level.
This course will be taught by one instructor in-person.
