Join Our Team as an Abacus Course Instructor for UCMAS!

UCMAS is a globally recognized leader in brain development programs for children, using the Abacus Mental Math system to enhance focus, memory, creativity, and self-confidence in children aged 4 to 13.

Our energetic and passionate team is devoted to help children unlock their potential with the Universal Concept of Mental Arithmetic System (UCMAS). Our internationally acclaimed program is designed to boost cognitive abilities and mental agility through structured training in abacus-based mental arithmetic.

We are currently seeking a dedicated, energetic, and enthusiastic instructor to join our team in delivering this engaging and impactful after-school program.

Key Responsibilities:

Guide students aged 4 to 13 through the UCMAS curriculum using abacus and mental calculation techniques. Teach children mental math skills using the UCMAS abacus-based methodology. Foster a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning and development. Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents. Maintain classroom organization and ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning space. Support and participate in student competitions, events, and occasional weekend workshops.

Requirements:

Genuine passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to learn and apply the UCMAS program and methodology for which training provided. Strong classroom management and organizational abilities. Prior experience in teaching or tutoring is an asset, but not mandatory. Availability to work during afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends based on class schedules. Legally authorized to work in Canada.
