Courier Owner Operator
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle
- Ensure proper handling and securing of packages during transportation
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly and professionally
Requirements:
- Owns a Cargo Van/Sprinter Van, Minivan or SUV
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. International licenses are welcomed as long as you are eligible to drive in canada.
- Must have experience as a parcel delivery driver and must be able to do 80-100 stops a day.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of goods
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal
Pay: $300.00-$400.00 per day
