Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Courier Operations Manager

to lead and optimize our day-to-day delivery operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in

unionized environments

LTL operations

, with a proven ability to drive performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily courier and dispatch operations to ensure efficient and on-time deliveries. Run LTL operations with a customer-first mindset, focusing on service quality and operational excellence. Steer courier dispatch and delivery performance, ensuring targets are consistently met. Lead and support a team of drivers and operations staff within a unionized environment. Develop and implement routing optimization strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs. Collaborate with senior management on planning, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and labor regulations.

Qualifications:

Minimum 4-5 years of operations management experience in courier, logistics, or transportation. Proven experience in unionized operations and LTL logistics. Strong understanding of routing optimization and dispatch systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Proficiency with MS Office and logistics management software.
