Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering packages to our customers in a timely and professional manner while following the proper protocols for each type of package. Key Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers.
Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle.
Follow delivery schedules and prioritize deliveries based on urgency and freight type.
Communicate with the dispatch team to receive delivery instructions and updates.
Provide excellent customer service by ensuring packages are delivered accurately and on time.
Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
Complete delivery paperwork and reports as required.
Utilize hand multiple handheld scanners for multiple courier partners.
Assist other drivers as needed
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record. (Insurance requirement)
Minimum 2 Years of commercial driving experience. Must be Canadian driving experience (Insurance requirement)
Must be 25 years old or older (Insurance requirement)
Must provide clean criminal record check.
Strong knowledge of local roads and routes.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and carry packages of various sizes and weights.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Job Type: Full-time
