Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Courier Driver to join our team. This role involves pick-up and delivery of medical laboratory specimens and supplies from various units in St. Mary's and Grand River hospitals efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical courier driving and possess strong communication skills to ensure smooth delivery processes. This is a dynamic position suited for individuals who enjoy moving and working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to designated locations Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, adhering to scheduled routes and deadlines Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered Maintain cleanliness and safety standards of the vehicle and delivery equipment Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations during deliveries

Requirements

Valid standard drivers license with clean driving record required. Drivers abstract will be checked. Strong customer service skills to address client needs professionally Ability to perform light and sometimes medium lifting and physical movement of goods regularly. Drivers are provided with a courier cart for moving items throughout the hospitals. Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and customers Previous experience in courier driving or logistics is desirable Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 40 per week
