Responsibilities

Safely operate a 3 ton truck down to a courier van along designated routes to deliver packages promptly and accurately Load and unload shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods Manage delivery documentation, including route sheets and delivery receipts, with attention to detail Communicate professionally with customers during drop-offs, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with traffic laws Navigate city streets efficiently using route planning tools to optimize delivery times Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory or organizing shipments when required

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks, transit vans and cargo vans Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of route driving and time management Ability to lift heavy packages safely, including heavy lifting and moving items using appropriate equipment like pallet jacks Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Familiarity with warehouse operations and experience handling shipments in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently, stay organized, and follow safety protocols diligently

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
