Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and packages efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations. The Courier Driver will also assist in warehouse operations when necessary, including moving and handling heavy items.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload packages, ensuring items are secured during transit. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met. Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory management and organization of goods. Utilize forklifts or other equipment as needed for heavy lifting tasks. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, location, and condition of items delivered.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred; experience in commercial driving is a plus. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the day. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Experience in warehouse operations is advantageous, including familiarity with inventory management systems. Forklift certification is a plus but not required; training may be provided. A clean driving record with no major violations is preferred. Must be able to work flexible hours, including potential overtime as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.75-$19.09 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 24 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
