River City Express
has an open position at dispatch. Job consists of answering incoming phone calls and emails and recording shipping information from the customer. The dispatcher will then distribute the deliveries to the appropriate drivers or routes and resolve any issues that may come up. There is truck tracking to aid in the job but individual must have knowledge of the city of Winnipeg and be able to assist with a route plan for drivers as well. Dispatcher must have good communication skills. Dispatcher works along side another dispatcher working together to manage the high call volumes and dispatch the deliveries.The job will also include assisting with customers that show up at picking up freight and assist drivers with loading or unloading freight on our dock when needed.
The position is full time M-F 730am-330pm. Some days may be needed until 5pm. We also offer a full benefit package.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
