Job Description
Due to expanding, we are hiring! Come join our team at Flatlander Express Inc. We are a locally owned, family-operated courier business that delivers to rural areas in Saskatchewan. We offer competitive wages and benefits.
Full time Monday to Friday
Wage
$20 per hour
Start Time
5:45 am - 1:45 pm (Plus possible overtime)
Requirements:
Experience with winter highway driving
Experience driving 1 ton & 3 ton trucks
Cell phone with GPS (Cell phone allowance provided) Steel toed safety boots Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs A valid class 5 driver's license No criminal record (Criminal Record Check to be provided upon hiring) Good driving record (Driver's Abstract to be provided upon hiring)Everyday Tasks:
Highway driving Able to work in a fast-paced environment Communicate professionally with customers & co-workers Drive company 1, 3 & 5 ton trucks making deliveries/pickups Transport loads safely following the rules of the road Represent yourself and our company to the highest standards Maintain contact with dispatch and work to resolve issues as they arise Verify load security and accuracy Other duties as assigned by management
