We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and packages to various locations in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as well as operate a forklift when necessary. This position requires a valid commercial driver's license and experience in warehouse operations.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling of items during transit. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and customer signatures. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including moving inventory and organizing stock. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license is required. Previous experience in commercial driving or courier services is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience with heavy lifting and moving items safely is essential. Prior warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding logistics processes. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while meeting delivery deadlines.
