Alstom est a la recherche d'un "Tax Manager" passionne et experimente au Canada. Dans ce role cle, vous serez un contributeur actif aux soumissions & projets, a la surveillance du prix de transfert et au support des operations courantes. Vous aurez l'occasion de travailler sur un large eventail de questions fiscales complexes, de collaborer avec diverses parties prenantes et de contribuer au succes d'une organisation dynamique et en pleine croissance.


Responsabilites Cles :




Soumissions & Projets:

+ Conseiller et favoriser l'optimisation fiscale des soumissions et assurer leur saine implantation lors de l'execution des projets.
+ Gerer et coordonner les implications fiscales canadiennes sur les transactions domestiques et internationales telles que taxes indirectes, impot corporatif, prix de transfert, retenue fiscale, etablissement stable, etc.
+ Conseiller les unites d'affaires cote prix de transfert en vertu de la politique prix de transfert d'Alstom (incluant la surveillance des projets).

Comptabilite Fiscale, Conformite Fiscale & Verifications Fiscales:

+ Gerer et coordonner la comptabilite fiscale avec le support de l'equipe comptable.
+ Gerer et coordonner l'ensemble de la conformite fiscale canadienne (incluant la documentation prix de transfert, Pillar 2 and reclamations R&D).
+ Gerer et coordonner l'ensemble des verifications fiscales, que ce soit le volet international, retenue fiscale, domestique, taxes de vente, incitatifs fiscaux (ex. credits d'impot R&D), etc.

Support aux Operations Commerciales:

+ Fournir un soutien fiscal complet aux unites d'affaires sur diverses questions fiscales.
+ Contribuer a l'amelioration continue des processus et des systemes fiscaux au sein de l'organisation.
+ Developper et entretenir des relations solides avec les parties prenantes internes et externes, notamment les autorites fiscales, les finances, la tresorerie, les services juridiques, les achats, etc.
+ Rester informe des evolutions de la legislation et de la reglementation fiscales et evaluez leurs impacts potentiels sur les operations d'Alstom.



Qualifications:





Un titre professionnel comptable (CPA) est requis.

Une specialisation approfondie en fiscalite (cours approfondi en fiscalite de CPA Canada ou maitrise en fiscalite) est preferable.

Minimum de 10 ans d'experience en impot international et domestique.

Maitrise d'outils fiscaux et Microsoft Excel.

Une experience avec SAP est un atout.

Bilingue (francais et anglais).





La connaissance d'une autre langue que le francais est un atout pour faciliter les echanges avec nos partenaires, fournisseurs, collegues et clients internationaux. Au Quebec, le francais reste la langue de travail principale de notre entreprise.




Alstom is seeking a passionate and experienced Tax Manager in Canada. In this key role, you will be responsible for bids & projects, transfer pricing monitoring and overall business support. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of challenging tax matters, collaborate with various stakeholders, and contribute to the success of a dynamic and growing organization.




Key Responsibilities:




Bids & Projects:

+ Provide and implement tax advice for tax optimized structures in bids and continuing project execution.
+ Advice on Canadian tax implications on domestic & cross-border transactions such as indirect taxes, corporate income tax, transfer pricing, withholding tax, permanent establishment, etc.
+ Advice all reporting units on Transfer Pricing (TP) in accordance to Alstom TP Policy (including projects monitoring).

Tax Reporting, Tax Compliance & Tax Audits:

+ Manage Alstom tax reporting with Finance support.
+ Manage all Canadian tax compliance (including TP documentation, Pillar 2 and R&D claims).
+ Manage all tax audits strategies and activities, related to international tax, withholding tax, domestic, sales tax, government incentives (like R&D tax credits), etc.

Business & Operational Tax Support:

+ Provide comprehensive tax support to business units on a variety of tax matters.
+ Contribute to the continuous improvement of tax processes and systems within the organization.
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including tax authorities, Finance, Treasury, Legal, Procurement, etc.
+ Stay up-to-date on changes in tax legislation and regulations, and assess their potential impacts on Alstom's operations.



Qualifications:




Professional accounting designation (CPA) is required. In-depth tax specialization (CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or Masters in Taxation) is preferred. Minimum of 10 years experience in international & corporate tax. Proficient with Tax tools and Microsoft Excel. Experience with SAP is an asset. Bilingual (French and English).




Knowledge of a language other than French is an asset to facilitate communication with our partners, suppliers, colleagues, and international clients. In Quebec, French remains the primary working language of our company.
