Job Summary

We're hiring a countertop installer for a large multi-unit project in downtown Victoria. This is one of the easiest and most convenient job sites you'll find -- no tools required, no long drives, straightforward repetitive layouts, and guaranteed steady work. You'll be installing quartz kitchen and vanity countertops, gluing one seam where needed, and working with our onsite team on a predictable schedule. If you have experience with quartz or stone installs and can start right away, this is an ideal opportunity.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine installation requirements. Use hand tools and power tools to perform installations accurately across various projects.. Perform caulking, sealing, and finishing work to ensure a clean and professional appearance. Assist with construction painting, restoration tasks, and general carpentry as needed. Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe work environment. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope. Maintain a clean work area and ensure tools are properly stored after use.

Qualifications

Proven experience with hand tools, construction, carpentry, or related fields preferred. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of caulking, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, welding, and restoration is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical capability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. Valid driver's license is preferred for site travel requirements. Prior experience in construction painting or working with schematics is a plus. Do you have at least 3 years of experience installing quartz or stone countertops, including templating, seam work, and on-site adjustments? Please describe your experience. Can you confidently cut, polish, and adjust stone on-site if required (using grinders, polishers, and setting tools)? Are you able to lift heavy countertops (up to ~150 lbs with assistance) and handle tight-access installations? Do you have experience installing quartz countertops in large multifamily or high-volume construction projects (100+ units), including working with strict GC schedules, following onsite protocols, and maintaining consistent quality across repetitive layouts? Please describe your previous multifamily experience. If you were installing a small single-run kitchen countertop plus a bathroom vanity, including gluing one seam, approximately how long would this installation take you from start to finish? Please explain your usual process.
