The qualified candidate will have a very customer-centric attitude. They will be expected to provide customer service both on the phones and at the counter. This individual will prepare quotes in a timely manner and source product when needed.They will be required to stay up to date with various promotions and industry/product knowledge training.
Reporting to the Operations Manager and Branch Manager, this cross-functional role will also require the successful candidate to assist with warehouse duties, deliveries and stock level/order management.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Help to maintain the appearance of the store front
- Receive orders and cross reference with packing slips
- Assist in keeping stock levels under control
- Customer quotes and inquiries
- Assist with order preparation
- Ongoing participation in webinars an vendor training to enhance understanding of product knowledge
- Pick and deliver orders as needed
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILSS:
- Motivated and positive attitude
- Willingness to research and source information
- Active listener and great communicator
- Relevant product or industry knowledge preferred, but not required
