The Opportunity:

Scope of the position

The Counter Sales Representative will be responsible for sales of electrical parts, equipment, and supplies over the phone and at the counter.

Duties and Responsibilities

Taking Sales calls and assisting customers on the phone. Attending to any walk-in customers. Loading and unloading shipments of parts, supplies, and equipment. Restocking duties Receives and processes customer orders. Practices safe material handling techniques. Generates invoices for counter sales orders. General facility maintenance duties as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

Possesses excellent customer service skills. Demonstrates an understanding of effective selling methods. Must carry legal documents/ eligibility to work in Canada. Highly reliable with exceptional work ethic. Able to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision. Is open to feedback and takes responsibility for personal development. Employees in this position must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance; most of the time is spent standing and walking. You must have the ability to climb, bend, squat, reach, grasp, and lift. Must be able to handle multiple tasks. Works easily with others in a high paced work environment. Be energetic and self-motivated. Always maintain a business-like manner. Dedicated to continuous improvement. Excellent communication skills. Must be able to reliably commute to work/ own vehicle preferred Valid and current Class 5 Driver's License.
