We are currently recruiting for a Counter Salesperson to join our team of dedicated professionals in Kentville, NS. The Counter Salesperson is responsible for selling Eddy Group Ltd products and services. He or she will provide high level customer service to clients and potential customers, initiation of prospect calls and the establishment of ongoing rapport with existing customers. Duties \xc2\xb7 Selling Eddy Group Limited products \xc2\xb7 Ensure follow-up by passing leads to Sales/Branch Manager with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, and so on. \xc2\xb7 Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events. \xc2\xb7 Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers via telephone and e-mail cross-sell and up-sell. \xc2\xb7 Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales. \xc2\xb7 Overcome objections of prospective customers. \xc2\xb7 Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, and prepare customer sales orders. \xc2\xb7 Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues. \xc2\xb7 Attend periodic sales training where applicable. \xc2\xb7 Assist with shipping and receiving, \xc2\xb7 Ensure products are placed in proper locations in a timely manner, \xc2\xb7 Always keep merchandising and counter areas clean and professional \xc2\xb7 Respond to customer service calls in a courteous and professional manner. \xc2\xb7 Address client inquiries regarding status of orders, payment, refunds, etc. \xc2\xb7 Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements \xc2\xb7 Must have Grade 12 or GED equivalent (having a trade background would be an asset). \xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques. \xc2\xb7 Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills. \xc2\xb7 Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers. \xc2\xb7 Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills. \xc2\xb7 Excellent listening skills. \xc2\xb7 Strong written communication skills. \xc2\xb7 Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm. \xc2\xb7 Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work individually and as part of a team. \xc2\xb7 High level of integrity and work ethic.
