We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Counter Help. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while assisting with food preparation and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your contributions will be vital in creating a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing transactions. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, kitchen, and dining space. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Provide support in food handling and preparation tasks as needed.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Experience in food preparation and knowledge of food safety regulations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of sanitation practices related to food service operations. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
