Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Crew Members to join our team in a coffee/tap room environment. As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring food safety and quality. This position involves various responsibilities, including customer service, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Front counter customer service, coffee, lattes (we train), desserts from the display case, craft beer Operate the POS system, Moneris (we train), to process customer orders efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly while adhering to cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers. Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to maintain high standards of food handling.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn new skills related to drink preparation and service techniques. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends.. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$16.01 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
