Job Overview

Provide exceptional service to our customers at the Fish & Deli Counter and/or Sushi Counter. Ensure all products are stocked, merchandised, and labelled. Assist with the preparation and packing of food.

Schedule

: Full-time or part-time. Sunday to Thursday, 10:00AM - 6:00PM.

Pay

: Starting at $17.85/hr (or can be discussed if you have previous related experience)

Duties

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner whether in person or over the phone Pack and label customer food or orders Follow proper merchandising and food safety standards for all coolers and freezers to control freshness of product Restock and carefully inspect products for expiry dates or quality issues Prepare orders for customers or delivery to other stores Follow proper merchandising standards Support the kitchen with preparation tasks Assist customers with questions or requests Follow cleaning, receiving and inventory policies and procedures

Skills & Qualifications:

Effective communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail Knowledge of Japanese food and products an asset Physical ability to do tasks (including standing/walking, lifting and carrying up to 20LB, packing and serving food)
