About the Position:
This is a regular part-time support staff Bargaining Unit position reporting to the Manager, Counselling, Accessibility & Testing Services working 24 hours per week at an hourly rate of $22.47.
The successful candidate provides support to the Counselling & Wellness Centre by providing students, staff, faculty, and community members at large, with information relating to both counselling and wellness/medical services offered. As the main contact for the Centre, the successful candidate coordinates the intake process, ensures students are booked based on preferred modality of service (virtual, in person, phone), provides intake forms and follows the triage process related to crisis and safety. Coordination of appointments, meetings, workshops, and other scheduling related activities are overseen by the incumbent. This individual is knowledgeable and sensitive to the needs of students and staff with regards to physical and mental health concerns.
They are also responsible for organizing and managing the office inventory, record keeping systems, OHIP billing, GuardME insurance billing, and other office related duties.
