As a member of the Consumer legal team, you will be engaged in a wide variety of legal matters, including reviewing advertising and marketing materials, advising on existing and emerging consumer products and services, supporting technology and supplier agreements, and drafting customer contracts and terms of service. Your practice will also touch upon privacy, competition and intellectual property.This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to: be a part of one of Canada\'s leading in-house legal teams; join an innovative and leading Canadian company with global operations; gain exposure to legal issues across TELUS\' diverse range of business groups including telecommunications, health, and security; learn and develop as a lawyer and trusted business partner; and engage in a broad and challenging legal portfolio.The Consumer legal team is very collaborative (and friendly!) and we work cross-functionally with other members of the TELUS Legal & Regulatory team and across the organization. We offer many opportunities for both formal and informal mentorship and development.The position is ideal for a junior level lawyer with 0-3 years from their call to the Bar who is looking to learn and grow their legal knowledge and practice within a supportive environment. However, more senior candidates with Competition law experience will also be considered. The position is located in Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver, with the ability to work remotely or in the office.QualificationsYou\'re the missing piece of the puzzle

• Experience or interest in one or more of the following areas:

• Advertising/Marketing
• Consumer protection
• Competition
• Commercial agreements
• Privacy/CASL
• Strong legal and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate legal advice effectively
• Demonstrated ability to focus on critical goals and strive for superior results
• Recognized for your ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing situations and priorities
• Drive to learn and be curious, understand and proactively contribute to business objectives, and to work collaboratively and creatively with lawyers and clients
• Personable, and skilled at developing and maintaining relationships with colleagues and sophisticated clients
• Bar membership in any Canadian province

Salary Range: $114,000-$172,000Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
